Electronic Arts has brought their popular FIFA Soccer series to the PSP with FIFA SOCCER. The game features over 350 fully licensed soccer clubs and international teams, a create-a-player option, and several exciting gameplay modes. In addition to the hundreds of players available, including big names like David Beckham, FIFA SOCCER includes over 30 fields and commentary by John Motson and Ally McCoist. Players have the option of playing through a season in any of the 26 club divisions or come in midseason using the new midseason scenario mode to play only the second half of the season in one of 18 different European divisions. Players can compete in over 20 real cup tournaments or create their own in custom tournament mode, and there’s also a custom season option which allows players to create their own season comprised of three to 20 different teams. Exhibition mode, challenge mode, and two player mode are also available. Challenge mode presents players with 40 real-life scenarios, many of which are based on memorable moments from the 2004 season. Successfully completing each scenario opens the next and earns the player points that can be spent to unlock extras such as alternative uniforms, night games, extra songs, and even famous referee Pierluigi Collina.
