Electronic Arts MVP BASEBALL for the PSP is a port of the PS2 version of the game. The PSP version features all the great players, stadiums, and baseball action that fans of the EA baseball games have come to love. The game faithfully reproduces the moves, physics, and feel of the game; the only thing missing is the man selling popcorn and hot dogs. The main mode of MVP BASEBALL is season mode. Players select a team to guide through a season, including handling injuries, creating line-ups, and making trades. The other two modes featured in MVP BASEBALL are single game and a home run challenge mode. Players can challenge each other via wireless connection in all three modes, with the home run challenge supporting several players either wireless or using a single system. Many of the sports’ most known stars are available, and players can create their own players or shuffle rosters around using the roster management system. The game also features a huge variety of unlockable extras ranging from alternate jerseys to old-time stadiums to legendary players, with over 150 extras in all.
